The Carolina Virginia Racing Association was established in 1970 as a non-profit member racing club of the American Power Boat Association. CVRA is positioned in the APBA Region 4, which consists of Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Anyone is welcome to join our club and we routinely have members from the Continental United States attend our races and events locally.

CAROLINA-VIRGINIA RACING ASSOCIATION is formed for the charitable purpose of furthering the public interest in and the education of the general public, as well as allowing the public to enjoy the sport of powerboat racing throughout Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.. Said corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
